Radiographs (or x rays) are an important diagnostic tool at Ferndale Veterinary Hospital. They are not only used to identify trauma such as fractures or dislocations, but are also important in assessing heart and lung disease, tumors, enlarged spleen, or liver and dental disease. They are also a vital means of screening for hip and elbow dysplasia before a dog begins a breeding career. We utilize digital radiology in-house for faster and better quality views.
